STUDIO & PRODUCTION
Thor is also an accomplished producer and studio engineer.
Over the last 8 years he has worked on a range of projects - from local band demos to International and National touring acts albums - in both studio and location recordings.
He has produced, recorded and play on tracks that have featured on the Top 40 Australian Country Airplay Charts, written songs that have been nominated for Q-Song Awards, and has had two successful albums of his own - all self-recorded and produced. Some of Thor's music has been used for television shows including Neighbours and Queensland Weekender.
Thor has been a finalist in the ICMA Awards for both his guitar playing and his producing and has recorded and mixed artists from various genres including Juzzie Smith, Junkyard Diamonds, Collins Class, and Watling & Bates to name a few.
Recently Thor has set up a new home-based recording facility in the Northern Rivers countryside, around 1hr west of Byron Bay (1 hr from Ballina Airport and about 1hr 20min from Gold Coast Airport).
Catering to singer/songwriters who want an authentic sound and high-quality production values, without the big city studio prices. We welcome enquiries for projects both large and small.
Thor specialises in creating great sounds for folk, blues, roots and country and bluegrass artists, but also has experience with rock and pop genres.
